GB-EMS has been running as a brand since 2010, with its roots firmly originating in the event medical sector. Founded by a team of likeminded medical professionals, GB-EMS was born in Southampton and rapidly got its name known for local events, with its most notable early success being a direct endorsement from the UK Roller Derby Association.

CQC, What it is and why it makes us better!

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the government regulatory body set up to certify and inspect health care providers to make sure patients are receiving a respectable level of care. The CQC regularly inspects NHS trusts, hospitals, care homes and medical services to make sure they are keeping to industry standards and patients are safe and well looked after.

A reflection on the last 12 months

A reflection on the last 12 months

After a recent piece of math from our marketing manager, we discovered that from the 8th of may 2016 to the 8th of may 2017, GB-EMS Group staff have committed exactly 27,082 hours of service through event medical cover and ambulance transport work. To put that into perspective, If we only hired one member of staff, who worked 12 hours a day, every day, it would take them over 6 years to reach the hours needed to cover our last 12 months commitments.
