New for 2017, the GB-EMS Event Medical Service is now fully available for the Isle of Wight to support the island community and promote high quality event medical cover. With a physical base on the Isle of Wight, combined with local staff, our local team is ready to assist with all event medical needs.
Ambulance Service and Event Cover
We are able to offer our full range of ambulance and event provisions to all of the Isle of Wight including 4x4 response vehicles, 999 frontline ambulances and an variety of medical centres and First Aid points. Despite being new to the Island, we have years of proven experience as a service and staff with a diverse array of backgrounds in a company used to providing high quality medical and first aid services.
The GB-EMS team has been supporting the Isle of Wight community for more than two years by providing our ambulance service to support the NHS and other industry clients. Our team already have good local knowledge and combined with our Island based team members, will be able to offer a much more specialised and focused service.
In addition to being a service originally based In Hampshire, our crews are used to transporting patients on and off the the Isle of Wight, and are regularly undertaking this type of work. We always aim to work closely with both clients and the ferry providers to ensure every crossing is managed correctly.
Training & Welfare Services
Medical training is somethign we are pasionate about, and a service we are comitted to offering to the Isle of Wight a new and enhanced training option. Offering primerialy both the Level 3 First Aid at Work and FREC 3 & 4 courses, we have publiclay open training available through the end of 2017 and into 2018. Either providing courses in our own inhouse training centre, or providing residential courses through are partners at the YMCA in Shanklin, we give each candidate the best training experiance availabe, with extra attention given to the quality of our practial and scenario based training and assesments.
We are also welcoming both individuals, businesses or groups on the island who wish to book their own courses outside of those we publicialy offer. With dedicated trainers that are island residents, we can offer a range of courses to help those needing to meet health and saftey regualtions in the workplace. Moreover our Events welfare team are poised to begin operations on the Island, with an intrest to support larger island events and fesitvals where patrons requiring welfare and social care are more likly to present. With a team with already proven experiance, and havging deblt with 100's of service users, we are ready to help suppoort the island community making sure those that need help get the support they need.
